Hey! Carina here, I go by my nickname, Ari. I’m 34, reliable & responsible. I specialize in 1-on-1 care for those extra special pups that aren’t the right fit for typical day care centers. I have experience with many different types of dogs: highly anxious, seniors, disabled, reactive, recovering from surgery, quirky personalities, etc. I aim to provide a safe and chill care experience. Any dog watched here will be with me the whole time unless discussed. They will get walks, cuddles, and whatever else they may need. I’ll always send pictures and ensure you know how they’re doing. I prefer to only care for one dog at a time unless they’re siblings. I want to make sure your pup and I are operating in the safest way possible for both of us. Typically, this means I avoid interactions with strangers, both human and canine. I don’t believe in yanking or yelling. I operate with kindness and respect for all my clients (and their parents).

This was our second time leaving our sometimes anxious and quirky pup with Ari for a week-long trip. Once again, it was a fantastic experience. Ari shared great updates and photos that put our minds at ease and warmed our hearts while we were away. Our dog clearly had a nice vacation too! Ari is an incredible, kind, fun-loving spirit, who really has a way with dogs. Definitely a go-to for future bookings!
Torrey has stayed with Ari for Doggy Day Care three times now and each time if fantastic. Torrey is so excited to see and spend with day with Ari that she can't stop wiggling when we get there. Thanks again, Ari!
They watch my Coco during the weekend of my wedding. They where so kind and so communicative. I couldn't have asked for a better experience during the stress of the wedding. It was nice to know that somebody had good care of Coco when I couldn't be there. I will absolutely be using her again.

I have a mellow yet attentive approach to dog care. I’ll let them come to me and not force it. For whatever reason the quirky/anxious dogs and I seem to do really well together. I’ll look out for body language or any other cues to check in and make sure your pup is a happy and comfy camper. My home: I have a small private backyard with a 8ft tall fence, a little coconut coir mulch, artificial turf area, and a little greenery. The house is on the first floor (1/2 flight of stairs), has two bedrooms, and plenty of roaming space. Accommodations: -Water bowl -Reflective leash -Large dog bed -Kurgo dog first aid kit -Paw wipes (unscented) -Natural doggy salve -Lick mat -Night light for walks Safety check: Please ensure your dog’s harness is tightened and secure. I will also check it before every walk.

Helpful Info: -Any special needs or sensitivities -Usual bathroom schedule, any quirks, preferences, or phrases that will make going easier for them -How they are near other dogs -Who and what they are reactive towards e.g. children, tall men, skateboards, birds, cats, etc. -If there is a chance your pup will go to the bathroom in the house, I’d like to know ahead of time. I’ve had ‘potty-trained’ dogs go in the house due to nervousness or other issues and want to set them (and myself) up for success. Thanks for the consideration! ☺️
A typical day
I try to stick to a close to your pup’s usual schedule as I can. I like to have a good mix of play time, cuddle time, and chill time. My neighborhood is pretty calm compared to other parts of the city. Whatever activity type/level you prefer is cool with me.
