Pet care experience
I've had dogs all my life, have only one small dog currently, and pet sit for my buddies for fun. If you call me, there's about a 95% chance I'll have to close the instagram video of dogs that I was watching to answer your call, or I might've been updating my dog's (Gusto) profile. I've always had a natural connection with dogs, which I've complemented through research and self guided study on behavioral teaching and understanding. I'm a college instructor and work from home, with summers off and a limited work schedule the rest of the year, leaving me with lots of time to hang with, love, and care for puppies, young and old! The more dogs in my life, the happier I am.

Eli's stay with Carin was fantastic! She took excellent care of him during my trip and they really seemed to form a bond. Carin was able to take Eli on short notice as well. I've typically had friends look after Eli when I travel, but life changes have made that more difficult over time. This was my first time using Rover, and Carin could not have made it more of a positive experience. Things were made even more complicated because Eli got injured right before my trip, which required him to take additional medication. None of this was an issue for Carin. She was able to deliver on all of his needs and gave him a loving space while I was away. If you're in need of dog sitter or walker, I highly recommend Carin; she has a great feel for dogs and all of their personality needs.
Carin has cared for our two dogs and a cat on multiple occasions and she is top notch. She has a gentle rapport with both our old dog and our young dog who couldn't be more different. When it comes to challenges like giving medicine to the old one and playing fetch and walking our young one, she handles them both exquisitely, according to their particular needs. Carin has that special intuition that is required of animal owners in order to give the best care possible, to read and understand their needs. I would not hesitate to use her again.
Carin has been walking my dog Charlie and caring for her when me and my partner are at work for two years now. We call her Charlie's second mama <3 I first met Carin walking her dog in our neighborhood, and being new to the area, asked if she could recommend someone to walk Charlie when we were at work. I was over the moon when Carin said, ME! because she lived around the corner, and she had a sweet, beautiful pup that was clearly very happy and well cared for. In the past, we'd always asked friends, but changing neighborhoods made it less convenient, and we were done with the stress of texting people and waiting on a response and sometimes not finding anyone and Charlie being in the house alone for up to nine hours. I feel completely confident when Charlie is with Carin. Charlie is so excited when Carin picks her up, and when she walks her while we're working, Charlie is so relaxed and happy when we come home. It's not that I have anything against boarding dogs, and I'm sure there are some great places for that, but I love having one person I can trust who really knows my baby. Carin is the best!!

Information Carin C. would like to know about your pet
I'd like to know if the dig has any particular fears or neurosis, so I can be ready to soothe them in those circumstances. I'd also like to know if greeting other dogs (or cats) on walks is super fun for the dog or a situation to be avoided. Finally, of course, I'd need to know about any medical conditions or special needs.
A typical day
I love going to Clouet park, Markey park, and Crescent park with pups. There's also the option of pay for the great play area at Bark Market, with lots of room for chasing balls and an obstacle course.
