Hello! My name is Carey and I can't wait to meet your pets! I have experience walking dogs, doing mid-day drop-ins on pets, and pet/house sitting while owners are away. My goal is to make your dogs and/or cats comfortable and happy until you return. I've had the pleasure of pet sitting others' cats, dogs, or (in one case) heard of dogs (6) throughout the past seven years. I'm a lover of all pets, young and old, big and small, shy and energetic. Each pet has its own personality and I love getting to know each of them! I am punctual, trustworthy, and maintain a calm demeanor. I love animal cuddles so they will get plenty of affection as well. Working from home with an 8:00 AM-4 PM schedule Monday thru Friday, I have most mid-afternoons and evenings free. I can schedule walks and drop-ins during the day and stay with your pets overnight. I am also available on the weekends. You never know until you ask! Feel free to drop me a line and I'd be happy to work out the desired full day/night stays. As a pet parent myself, safety and trust are two non-negotiable points when it comes to pets. On walks, your dog will be on a leash at all times, and a full report check-in post-visit is available. Dog meet and greets are required before booking any long-term care to ensure everyone gets along. Virtual meet and greets are required before any house sit. If your dog or cat is in need of a bath, let me know! I bathe mine and it's no trouble at all to take the potentially laborious task off your hands. I have years of experience administering oral medication to my family pets. If your cat or dog is taking any meds, please be sure to let me know the dose and frequency! I do trim my own cats' nails and would be happy to provide this service as needed. Please note that I only offer baths and brush-downs. I do NOT offer fur trimming (or full grooms).
