Guy and I have had dogs our whole lives and are serious animal lovers. We've volunteered at shelters and fostered dogs in the past. Our current rescue is a 9 year old terrier mix named Zooey. It's been wonderful to see her come out of her shell. She loves snuggling, playing, hanging out in the back yard, going for walks, and even runs. My house has a fenced backyard that is great for playing in. We're comfortable with all sizes and breeds of dogs. Carey works a 9-5 office job, but has some flexibility for working from home as needed. Guy has a very flexible schedule. Between the two of us, your pup will only be alone for a few hours at a time.
