We are now a family of 8. There are 4 children, 15, 17, 18, 18 and 2 doggie daughters. We all love dogs and look forward to bringing new friends for our 4-legged daughters to meet and play with. Marley considers herself to be the house manager. She is up to date on the vaccinations and visits her vet regularly. Stella is a spunky senior girl and we love her cuddly chubby self like crazy. I work very close to home and often go home for lunch to give the girlies outside time. The children are well accustomed to being around dogs and love to play. Our doggies are family and we ensure they have the same comforts that we do. We have plenty of cozy spots for our girls to lay and open area for them to play. We are located in a neighborhood that has a walking path and plenty of open spaces for dogs and children. We have a fenced pet yard with plenty of room to play. We have a annual membership to Harrison State Park and live very close to it as well. I am taking care of dogs because I would want someone like me to take care of my Marley Belle and Stella Bella, so why not offer the service to others who feel the same way about their pets as we do. My daughter, Delaney, has joined the family business and loves to walk dogs and even do the drop-in visits. She is 18 and graduated early from high school. She is a go-getter and loves doggies. She has been helping care for the dog guests that have been coming to our home for the last 6 years. She has helped with several drop-in visits house/dog sitting and dog walking already. We are able to do drop-in visits during the day and/or boarding with our dogs in our home. I have a flexible work day and can make quick visits when needed. We have a fenced in play yard for the dogs and I work 5 minutes from my home so I am able to go home during the day. I also have cameras in the house so I can see how the dogs are doing. I’m caring for my own pets so adding additional pets is just part of the process. I work very close to my home so I’m able to come home during the day. I have a fenced yard and a doggie door that Marley Belle teaches guests how to use. We know first aid and care for senior dogs often.
