Loving attention, fenced yard

Pet care experience

**About me** We're a household of 3 adults and 2 7yo female retired racing Greyhounds (sisters). My husband & I work full-time at home, and our adult aspergers son works part-time. At least one adult is always at home. My son, Alex, and I started our business together because of our shared love of animals. We will both be actively involved with caring for your pet, with my husband, also. I provide a lifetime of knowledge and education in animal science, and Alex is our in house dog-whisperer! He's truly amazing with animals and is very conscientious. We've always had dogs as part of our family. We've also had guinea pigs and cats in the past. We regularly care for our neighbor's cats and chickens, too. We're especially savvy with caring for older pets and those with special needs. We're experienced with medications, special diets and additional levels of care for blind, deaf, and arthritic fur-babies. We're also experienced with behavioral special needs such as separation anxiety. **About my home/services** We'll provide you with pics, videos and daily updates while they're in our care. Boarding & Daycare: We care for up to 3 dogs at a time at our house, as a combination of either boarding or daycare. When we have 3 guests, 2 are from the same family. We're very conscientious about different personalities, making sure everyone gets along and is safe, relaxed and happy. Most of our clients have been with us for several years, so we're very familiar with their personalities and how they get along with each other. We only accept new clients on a specific request basis. We have a medium sized backyard that has a privacy fence and a tall chain link gate on one side. We have a tri-level house. Dogs will be inside at night. They're given the choice to be inside or out during the day. We don't have a doggie door - humans provide them with doorman services! Drop-in visits & House-sitting: Performed by either myself, my son, or both depending on the day/time and your request. Your choice if we stay overnight for house-sitting. **About my neighborhood** We live on a cul-de-sac that connects to a walking trail. The walking trail runs along a small creek and connects to the Highline Canal. One adjoining neighbor has a couple of dogs who visit regularly. They're well behaved and get along with our dogs thru the fence. Because our culdesac connects to the walking trail, we get a fair amount of people walking by with their dogs. Several like to stop and say hi to our dogs thru the chainlink gate.

Your pet will get lots of attention when we care for them! They'll be spoiled and treated like one of the family. Boarding & Daycare: they will play games and go on at least two walks a day together with our dogs. They'll have lots of opportunities to be both inside and out in the backyard. Our backyard is completely dog friendly and they'll love terrorizing squirrels, conquering their domain on their loft play-fort, showing off their agility with jumps & ramps, chasing each other in the grass, or just lounging around enjoying the fresh air. At night, they'll be in one of our bedrooms with a family member and our dogs; wherever they're most comfortable. They'll have a nice dog bed to sleep on, a human bed if they' prefer, or you can bring their own bed or crate. Feeding time is always supervised so that everyone only eats their own food and any appetite issues are identified. Drop in Visits & House-sitting: they'll get the full care that you have asked for and lots of love. Alex will be the main caregiver with me supervising. He doesn't drive, so I provide his transportation and am available as needed/requested during the evening and weekends. **Special rules or requests** We recommend providing an article of clothing or their usual bed. Having something with your scent helps to alleviate any separation anxiety your dog might experience. We have a dog lift harness for older dogs who may have issues with the stairs (2 sets with 7 steps). We're very comfortable caring for dogs with special needs (medical, deafness, arthritis, blindness, etc.).
