Cara was originally referred to me by a good friend of mine. I travel a decent amount for work, so when I am away, I typically rely on friends and family to help me out with my 3 years old pup, Piper. A few months ago, I had a friend lined up to watch her, and while on my way to the airport, I found out my friend had a death in the family and needed to head out of town. With only a few hours before my flight, I frantically called every dog owner I knew looking for a referral to help out. While I got a few good referrals, none were available on such short notice. Cara got back to me right away, and had a full schedule that afternoon, but told me she’d be happy to help. While I was relieved to find someone to help, I knew Piper had been alone since late that morning. She told me she had one other stop to make, but could make it by 7pm. I knew that was a long time for Piper to be alone, but I didn’t have much of a choice. Needless to say, I was nervous and considered cancelling my flight. A few minutes before 5 as I was boarding my flight, I got a text from Cara. Attached was a picture of her with Piper...both looking insanely happy. She told me she had a hair appointment, but didn’t want Piper alone that long, so she actually rescheduled it for a few days later (like...WHAT?!?). I was in shock. Over the next couple of days, she would check in with updates on Piper, and I can’t begin to describe how lucky I felt that I had found her. When I finally got home late afternoon the following day, Cara was coincidentally there and out in the back yard playing with Piper. When she was ready to head out, and left through the front gate, Piper sat by the gate and whined. Amazing. I can honestly say I don’t think I’ve ever met someone who cares more about dogs than this woman. She is incredibly sweet, patient, and flexible. Whether its just a walk, or asking her to give Piper her meds, cleaning off her paws before she lets her back in the house, I just couldn’t ask for anything more. I’ve been using her ever since and I think the only one happier with Cara than I am is Piper! Thank you Cara!

Cara is amazing! My dog just loves going to her home for boarding. She is reliable, caring and does such a great job with my pup! I never have to worry about him when he’s there. What I really love, is she sends me tons of photos of my fur baby when she is watching him, which helps so much. Her home is super clean and dog friendly, with lot of trails nearby for the pups to get exercise.
