We have been with Rover for almost 2 years and we have loved every second of caring for all our furry friends! We have over 250 clients and have close to 200 repeat clients that we care for yearly! We have fallen in love with this line of work so much so that we have dedicated a full time schedule to this business! Let me tell you a little more about us... We have been married for 4 years and have moved to Winter Haven around the same time. We love it out here in the "Chain of Lakes City"! We got our pup Oliver about 2 years ago and we felt trapped with having to either spend a fortune on his care and leave him with people we didn't know or really trust. This is actually why we started with Rover, to offer a different experience for people who felt just like we did. It took off and we pride ourselves in our work. We both have always loved animals our whole life with many fosters and rescues, but now we fully dedicated ourselves to proper pet care, and with that came training and licensing. We obtained our business license and we are fully insured through the state of Florida. We have both been background checked and fingerprinted. We were trained in pet care and proper socialization of animals so we could prevent any accidents. We have a system that we follow to assure that everyone leaves safe, healthy and happy! With that system, we require meet and greets, knowledge of history of the pet and we are the only non facility in our area that requires proof of vaccinations! We require a meet and greet from all new clients, we think it's imperative to meet everyone we care for, pets and pet parents alike! We use that opportunity to show you our attached to our home facility and explain our procedures for safety. We collect any and all information about caring for your pet so we can make the transition from home to their "home away from home" smooth as possible. We also use the opportunity to answer and question or concerns you may have to give you the utmost peace of mind. Our pet facility called the "Dog House' is a 375 sq foot facility that is connected to our home. It is a dedicated space to the pets where dogs can just be dogs. Fully equipped with heat and air conditioning, with plenty of open space for inside safe play and engagement. We have in house bedding, crates, bowls, dog toys and much more so you don't have to bring much for your pets stay! We have a textured epoxy floor that allows space for easy cleanup should there be any accidents, and its texture with grip for our older dogs who struggle with stabilization or joint problems. We have a door that connects directly to our fully fenced in backyard. We clean our facility daily with vet approved solutions, we launder and sanitize all items that come in and out for safety purposes. The best part, we have someone home at all times to interact and love your extended family while you're away. We advertise about 3 hours of alone time a day where we may step out to care for non-boarding pets or grocery shop, but don't fret. We keep all dogs under constant supervision with cameras inside and out and we have baby monitors to keep an extra eye out in our absence. We never leave dogs alone together unsupervised. We offer other services as well. If you're looking for drop in care of your pet in your home for an allotted time, or dog walks and we even offer day care as well. We have cared for dogs, cats, birds, hamsters and guinea pigs. We strive to be your one stop shop for all your pet care needs!
