Pet care experience
Had family dogs through childhood, and raised my own from 8 weeks old. Our training at K-9 Korner, in Wilkes-Barre, included Good Citizen training. Was lucky enough to have 16-1/2 years of walks, runs, catch, baths, teeth brushing, tricks, pets, and belly rubs, and eventually becoming adept at senior care, administering meds and assisting with mobility limitations. Also, have nearly 10 years experience with cat loving, playing, lap sitting, and litter changing.

Candice was great! She watched my cats while I was away for a week. She sent pictures and madd sure to check on all the cats, even the ones hiding under the bed. She was also very responsive to messages. Highly recommend!

Candice has a true love for dogs. It was apparent when she came over to meet my dog prior to our first booking. She is a true professional. She went out of her way to learn everything about my dog, his likes, his dislikes, does he eat his food warm or cold, etc. She gave us updates and sent pictures at each drop-in visit. She did an outstanding job for us. We certainly will use her again.

I am hoping to be able to host pets in my home, soon, but for now I am happily able to come to your home to care for your furry loved ones! ** Please note: Due to the rising fuel prices, for the time being I will unfortunately need to add a surcharge to any bookings that exceed 10 miles travel round trip. **
Information Candice D. would like to know about your pet
I'd like a meet and greet with you and your dog for our initial visit to make sure that we're all comfortable with each other. This will hopefully reduce the chance of him or her viewing me as an outsider or threat. For cats, this is not necessary, unless you would prefer it or your kitty is uncomfortable with new people.
A typical day
I hope to give your pets as much interaction as possible, while you're away. If possible, we'll enjoy any walkable areas, play with their favorite toys, and practice any training tasks you've given them. Of course, there will also be lots of petting and love given, if they enjoy it!

I'm currently working full time and am typically available after 4:30 pm, and occasionally on weekends. May be able to accommodate quick lunch check-ins locally.
