Pet care experience
Hi I'm Candice I am a certified Vet Tech and work as the Assistant Shelter Manager at the local SPCA. I have been doing shelter work for 6 years and in the veterinary care field for 8 years. I am use to working with a full spectrum of dog personalities. I know that every dog is an individual and I am skilled at reading body language to help insure comfort. I live with my Siamese Cat named Skye in a one bedroom apartment. My cat is good with dogs (I believe she thinks she is one) but I love her too much to make her share me permanently which is the only reason I don't have a dog of my own. I LOVE dogs and would be happy to show yours some love while your away!

A typical day
I would be happy to simply take your dog for a walk in the neighborhood where its most comfortable. For the more adventurous kids, I work around the corner from the dog park and would be glad to go frolic and play there. Whenever sitting any overnight pups my apartment community has a fenced dog run and my neighbor/friend has 3 small dogs that could play with us if your dog likes play dates.
