I'm an animal person. Love animals more than people. I would take my dog out for jogs in the morning, give him treats after asking him for paw or to sit. Dogs should know you're in control, not them. But also should know that you love them. They are the most gullible, lovable creatures and we don't deserve them. I give my dog all the attention he needs. I play with him, make sure he goes for walks and goes outside to use the bathroom. I never ignore any dogs needs. They are simply wonderful animals! If any serious conditions are happening I will right away take the dog to the vet and call the owner. I'll also always make sure that the leash is on correctly before every walk. No owner deserves to have their dog lost.
