Pet care experience
Many years of experience with all types of animals I volunteer with 3 different animal organizations on the island and I am proficient in medicine distribution and other necessary care. I am a stay at home mom and full-time student, open to most schedules and love all typss of animals! I colony feed from 5-6am and 5-6pm other than that I am pretty free. Only able to short term care for cats in home, but I can do multiple check-ins as many as necessary at your own home as long as the pet is able to stay alone overnight.

I am a dog mom of 3 babes and We have never left them! My husband and I usually plan our trips so they are separate so that one of us is always home with them! We booked a weekend trip (last minute) to Kauai and let me tell you, we found the most amazing dog auntie ever! Candice came and met our babes, asked all of the questions,and truly was amazing! I received pictures and updates every few hours! She played and loved on our babes like they were here own! I do not even have the words on how amazing she is! If you do not book her, you are missing out! My husband and I are already trying to plan our next trip, of course on Candice’s availability! We can’t thank her enough! Seriously the best
We are new to the Island and we had a family life or death emergency on the mainland...a friend of mine recomm one of the volunteers she knew from PDP, a very well trained, educated, and knowledgeable woman. Her and her daughter (a wonderfully packaged deal, as she has no babysitter while she tries to work and earn some extra money). I have ring cameras all over my house because I'm from anew York and obviously don't even trust my own shadow haha. They were amazing with both my young German Shepherd and pitbull (both only 6months old and still training in so many areas) but also out sassy torti who honestly doesnt like anyone (not even us haha).She was so patient and loving, she spent extra time loving on everyone, especially our beautiful shy torti girl. I was so worried and I'm very untrusting, but I swear she had no idea I had cameras and she spoiled and lived on everyone more than our entire family combined 😉 plus we were gone during a holiday weekend and my big guys hate fireworks, shedrop all the way over (once fireworks started in her neighborhood) to check on everyone even after she had already stopped by the agreed upon only 3 check-ins a day for 30-45min...the Sanchez family is so amazing I can't even describe how above and beyond they go, my own in-laws have never cared for my furry friends as well as she did, and with only 1 day notice...how incredibly wonderful!!!!!! We found her through an animal organization on Facebook and she is fricking awesome. Goes above and beyond her duties as a sitter, and when I arrived home my dog and cats were so happy and relaxed. My husband usually struggles to give medication to one of our senior cats, and Candace is like a pro, no fear no struggle, no trauma, and they love her so much. We've gone off-island twice now using her and we'll never choose another sitter. Mahalo!
Carrie- "My guys definitely loved having you and your daughter around to spend time with them and give them love while we were gone! My shy pup Zues seemed so drawn to you both and we loved it. It's been so difficult finding a reliable caretaker that he bonds with. Ya'll are simply miracle workers! You will definitely be our first call next time we travel. Thank you so much again! And I loved what I saw on my security cameras (so patient and loving!)
