Pet care experience
I worked 4 years at the Augusta Regional SPCA and provided services from feeding, cleaning kennels, medicating, vaccinating, grooming, bathing and walking...to name a few. I love animals of all sorts and have wanted to start a dog rescue of my own. I have worked hand in hand with a veterinarian at the Spay/ Neuter clinic and helped with ill and wounded animals at the Spca. I love to nurture them and make them feel wanted. I look forward to once again working with animals because it is my happy place. I hope you consider me to take care of your furry family members because I will consider them as part of mine. I also have some knowledge in training and behavior, and I owe that to Petsmart charities training I had in Dallas Texas SPCA. Thank you for your time and looking over my profile. God bless

Candace was fantastic with our three cats! One of them is particularly difficult about eating while we travel and she made sure he was taken care of. Our other cat takes a pill and she had no problem providing it. Our travel plans got changed very last minute due to flight cancellations, and Candace was incredibly flexible and came for a few extra visits. We came back to a tidy home and three very happy guys!! I can’t recommend her enough!
Candace did an awesome job checking in on my cat Merlin for a week and administering her daily medications. I moved to Richmond this year and this was my first time using Candace, but I felt peace of mind right away based her updates each day. I will definitely ask her to check in on Merlin again in the future.
Candace did an excellent job watching our cats while we were away. She made good judgement calls when necessary and kept up updated throughout the week with pictures and messages. Our cats very quickly took to Candace and from the pictures of them sitting in her lap and cuddling, I can tell they really like her and trust her. Highly recommend, and will definitely work with her again!
Candace was AWESOME with our cat! Very communicative- always kept us up to date with how the cat was doing. It was clear from her messages that she really liked our cat, which was reassuring to us, since we were gone for an extended period. From the pictures, our cat really liked her too! If we weren't moving, Candace would definitely be our go-to sitter.
