I am a school teacher who is taking the upcoming year off and filling my time with what I love..time with fur babies. I have always had dogs and was a dog photographer when I was married. I also have worked in a dogie daycare for a period of time before I went back to teaching. I live in a beautiful area with Ramsey Creek dog park across the street and a wonderful neighborhood to walk the dogs in. I have 2 small dogs, have been a dog owner my whole life and live in the beautiful area of Cornelius. I could take your dog to Ramsey Creek Park or just take on a pleasant walk around the West Moreland community if they stay with me. I would also go to your house if close to Cornelius area if preferred. Before I went back to teaching I was a dog photographer and actually worked in a doggie daycare. In my home I only watch small to medium dogs. For walking, size does not matter.Why I love dog sittingI have been a dog lover all of my life. I have also had dogs my entire life, and all of them have lived a very long and healthy life (13 on average). My one personal dog who was a French Bulldog lived to 15! Which is unheard of for this breed.Meet my petsI have a 11 .5 year old Pomeranian and a 2 year old Brussels Griffon (dog breed in As Good As It Gets). Both are very socialized and love people and other dogs.About my yardI have a fenced in patio/yard surrounded with a dogie door from my house to the patio. The dogs are allowed on my furniture and sleep in my bed or a plush dog bed next to me. Balance and tranquility is what your fur baby receives when staying with me.My experience administering medicationYes, I am good with giving pills, liquid medication and know how to administer shots to diabetic dogs.
