Hi, my name is Camy and I use they/them pronouns. I've taken care of and trained dogs, horses and other pets since I was 9. Between 2005 and 2011, I would take my neighbors dogs out for runs, would rehabilitate horses with behavioral difficulties at my local riding center, volunteered at multiple animal shelters and rode million dollar trotter racehorses on Sundays to strengthen their backs. In 2011, I worked at a dogsledding facility, where I took care of 30 sled dogs, the occasional boarder, and trained the litter of puppies. Since, I have mostly been taking care of friends' pets here and there, but now that I am done with graduate school, I am looking for more opportunities to have furry friends in my life again! I work from home part time as a self-employed tutor Monday-Thursday 1-8pm, so your pet would have company all day! I generally take dogs on longer walks in the morning, around noon and after 8, and can also take pets out for shorter potty breaks in between meetings 1-8pm. I provide dog/pet sitting services in your home and am happy to follow any routines you usually have with your pet such as putting your pet in a crate while I'm out, observing regular feeding times, administering medication, etc. I usually keep dogs on leash unless your request otherwise and the dog has strong recall.
