You can relax. Your home and your pets are in responsible, loving hands. Our family consists of a married couple and three children (ages 18, 15, 13). We are honest, hardworking people, with lots and lots of home- and pet-watching experience. Carl is a "Mr Fix-It" who is a licensed tax attorney and accountant in the States. (He also speaks Spanish fluently, and is conversational in Italian.) Camille is a passionate gardener with a 10+ year background in hospitality and an established writing portfolio. Let us care for your animals (and your home if needed) while you enjoy your time away. As parents, we are eager to give our children authentic work experiences. We are teaching them about service, caring for others, and responsibility, and they are learning fast! They already have a deep love for animals, and are eager to help. The children bond quickly with all creatures great and small, and are very obedient, respectful, and clean. We do not smoke, drink, or throw wild parties. We are a devoted and loving family who love to travel and see places off the beaten path and experience quietly "living like a local" wherever possible. We enjoy long walks and bike rides, and we are all strong swimmers. We are happy to provide our own transportation (if needed), care for your gardens and indoor plants, and we will happily guarantee that you’ll return to happy pets in a lovely, clean home. We run this business as a family, the kids help with playtime, walkies, and cleanup in the backyard. I remain in charge, but we enjoy working and playing with the dogs together. We like to stick to the routine you’ve implemented at home. If dogs get fed at certain times or sleep in specific arrangements, we will stick to what’s familiar. Cats are always welcome, and we have a separate space for them to roam without having to interact with other animals, while still getting plenty of love and attention.

Camille is fantastic. She was reassuring when I was nervous about dropping off my 2 dogs and sent pictures of them throughout. They were both totally content when I came to pick them up!
Penelope loved her stay with Camille. When I went to pick her up, she was tired and sleepy for the rest of the weekend! She made lots on new friends, lots of play time, and still got that individual care/attention. I got daily pictures and updates during Penelope’s stay as well, which were greatly appreciated! Highly highly recommend!!

We have a pack of “regulars” who come to play at our house while their humans work. So there will be lots of friends to play with! That means, unfortunately, that we cannot accept requests from “reactive” dogs, or stud dogs, since we want every visitor to have a good experience romping and rolling around together. We love every creature on this beautiful planet. We have personally adopted and loved four dogs, two cats, one bird, a flock of backyard chickens, and several aquarium fish over the years. Carl and the children have volunteered (over 100 hrs per person) at a local horse rescue where they care for horses, chickens, goats, sheep, and occasionally bees. Our previous assignments have given us the opportunity to care for horses, miniature ponies, sheep, goats, ducks, chickens, dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, and even hermit crabs. As you can see, we love animals! We will care for your cherished creatures as we do for our own, sharing pictures along the way so you can see how your animals are being loved and cared for while you're away. Contact us today!
A typical day
Dogs get to play all day together in our fenced backyard, taking breaks as needed. There is water available inside and outside 24/7, and we feed dogs three times a day (separately, so there are no issues). If a dog needs a break we have plenty of space separated doors, gates, and many laps to rest in. There is always someone here, since I work from home (part-time, online advertising & copywriting), and my son takes his coursework online from home. On weekends we often go hiking in the mountains and take our four-legged friends with us as often as possible! The kids and I also love taking dogs on regular walks through the neighborhood or down to the park. And if your animals love to play, we make excellent playmates. (Fetch, anyone?)
