Pet care experience
I could tell you that I love animals, but since you found me on this site, you probably already know that. I have a lot of experience caring for dogs for many years, including my own. I even have references for dog walkers/sitters I have helped along the years. I grew up with dogs as my parents used to breed German Sheppard's for the police academy. Up until mid 2015, my friend and I ran a successful 501c3 rescue where we saved over 100 English bulldogs per year! I am very familiar with bully breeds but I love all animals...except for snakes. Can't do those, sorry :) About me, I am 39, college educated, tri-lingual. Over the years I have cared for sick, injured and healthy animals and I am very comfortable administering medication. Please note: If you are looking for something daily, or long term, I am more than happy to workout a plan instead of the rates posted on the site.

My shy, skittish cat doesn't like to be left alone, but when I returned from my most recent trip, she acted like it was just another day. Food and water bowls were full, litter was clean, cat was happy. I will definitely use Camille again!

Before taking in a new pet, I ask questions about the dog's behavior/temperament, quirks, how to handle their specific pet. I like to find out about the every day habit's, what is allowed and what isn't. If treats are allowed, what types, any special diets, if on medication...I also like to know how their pet is around other pets and what they expect from me as a dog sitter. I love making my clients happy because I feel accomplished at the end of the day.
A typical day
All dogs are different and require proper care according to their breed. I can't take an English bulldog for an hour walk in the South Florida sun. So, first and foremost I would ask how the owners likes to have their dog cared for. If the dog likes extended walks, then that is what we will do. If they like to fetch, then we will do that also.

Availability
I am in a small condo w/o a yard. I am remodeling the place so I am home all day. The pet would maybe be left alone for an hour if I have to step out for an errand.
