Animals are my heart and soul!!

Pet care experience

Hey! My name is Camila and I’ve always loved animals since I was little. Legend has it I MAY get along with animals more than I do with people! I work from home full time and will be going to law school part time on the weekends, so I will be available to take care of your babies, depending on your schedule and mine. I’ve had many pets. Currently: 1 dog. I used to have fish, a turtle, two bunnies, and two hedgehogs! All my friends and family point out how much care I put into my pets and even other animals that weren’t mine. I used to work at PetSmart so my life for the past 6 years has been constantly revolving around animals. I’d like to go into animal welfare law, so it’s only natural that I keep a life with animals going. If you give me the honor of taking care of your baby, I’ll make sure they receive all the love in the world (the world being your/my apartment and the park) and come back to you happy and tired! Many clients like asking my preferences when it comes to their babies, but I make it a point to cater to YOU so that you know exactly what you and your pet are signing up for. I can make accommodations as long as you communicate it to me. I am here for you and to make you and your fur baby happy! **NEW HOUSESITTING POLICY** Rates are per a 24-hour period. For example, if you drop leave at 12PM on Tuesday and are gone until Thursday, the price reflected on Rover is valid until 12PM on Thursday. For the first 5 hours following, a half-day care charge of $30 will be applied. Past 5 hours will result in a full day care charge of $60

We love Camila! Trust her completely and she and her sister are a great team. She is our “go to” dog sitter! Strongly recommend her, but don’t be greedy with her time! Lol…

Camila did an amazing job with Ollie! She was punctual and very communicative, and I came home to a happy, calm puppy each evening. She even spent time doing a little training each day! Very reliable and I feel comfortable leaving Ollie in her care. Will be sure to book her again.

Safety, trust & environment

I try to keep a pet’s daily routine as consistent as possible. If that means having to stay in their home so they are more comfortable, I will do it! My neighborhood/community is also dog friendly. Since I do not have a backyard, dogs will always be leashed unless we are out at the park. I like to keep one dog at a time since I also have a dog of my own, to ensure that they are receiving the best care and attention possible.

Information Camila V. would like to know about your pet

I do not have any breed or size preferences. However, I do need to know if your dog gets along with other dogs as I have my own pup. I also would like to know if the dog, whether house trained or not, has ever had accidents in someone else’s home. Typically when a boarder comes, I ask owners to bring food, bowls, leash, harness, and something to remind them of home!

A typical day

Almost every day, I like to pack the dogs in the car and take them to the park. When it’s too hot out, I like to keep the dogs occupied inside by playing fetch, tug of war, or doing basic command training.
