Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Camila. Since 2012, I have (fur)babysat everything from Morkies to Great Danes. All of my experience has come from being referred by people. Not sure if this is required by Rover, but whenever possible, I’d prefer to take the time to make the trip meet a family and their fur baby first before providing dog sitting services or staying someplace overnight. I appreciate getting a proper introduction to a dog, both for my safety (so the dog doesn’t attack me when I stop by) and to know that I’m comfortable staying at a home overnight. I live in an apartment that allows pets. No yard but we have a dog park and a community park nearby. I also love taking dogs to walk/jog on base housing, weather permitting.

The dog’s vaccination record, last yearly vet visit, bathing frequency, aggressive behavior, whether they get along with children and/or other dogs (in case we come across children/other dogs on walks or at the dog park), any food or environmental allergies or medical conditions, including fractures or hip dysplasia, neurological conditions (after falls/accidents, seizures, etc) and any possible breed-specific likelihood of injuries or conditions. Any supplements or medications that the dog takes regularly. No preferences on breed in terms of babysitting, but I love big dogs. When walking an animal alone I always feel safer with a larger dog. When I decide to get my own, it will likely be a 50-100 lbs dog like a GSD or Great Dane.
A typical day
Depending on where the family lives, I like to go on walks at big parks, dog parks. If the pet is staying with me, we will likely walk around my neighborhood and make a visit to the dog park (if the dog has behavior that allows playing at the dog park).
