Pet care experience
I've had dogs my whole life. I grew up with two, a lab mix named Kibbles and a Scottie mix named Buttons. I am now living at my mother's house with our two beloved dogs Marley, a mix of pretty much everything; and Sarah, a Beagle mix. We have a spacious fenced in yard and I frequently take Sarah to the Lake Baldwin dog park to let them run around. I walk them every morning and night, and I bathe them at least once a month. I work from home so I am able to care for them nearly 24/7. I used to take Marley to the park as well, but he is recovering from torn ligaments in both of his knees (an injury he is genetically prone to) and cannot be exposed to much exercise. I love my dogs with all my heart and I think that all dogs are special creatures that deserve our love and respect.

Cameron is awesome!!!! My dogs live him. He went I feel above and beyond because it was after the hurricane and took the girls to his place so they were in A.C. since I didn't have power. Will defiantly use him again. His is a very polite man as well! Hard to find!

No breed preferences, but it would be nice to know if the dog has any preconceived notions about certain types of people. Some dogs just plain don't like men or don't like women, or the smell of another dog. I also would like to know how they behave during a walk, if they pull a lot or are skittish. Not that it would be a deal breaker, I just would like to know ahead of time. Sarah is a very anxious dog herself so I know how to deal with it.
A typical day
If the owner has a preferred walking route, I will use that. Otherwise I can always find a nice trail nearby or go for a long walk around the neighborhood. If we're going to the park and we're close enough to Lake Baldwin, that dog park is my personal favorite. Lots of room for them to run, a beach area on the lake for them to splash around in, and a large wooded area that is perfect for peaceful walks. I'm certainly not opposed to letting a dog run while on the leash, I run with my dog Sarah on our walks all the time. I love playing any game that a dog wants to play, such as fetch, tug of war, etc.
