I have lived with dogs (and a couple of cats) my entire life. I began really getting into animals when I was around 8 years old and started making regular visits to my mom's veterinary clinic in KC. I've taught my own dogs over 50 commands including competing in agility and obedience. I also had the pleasure of volunteering at a local wildlife hospital for over 2 years where I helped administer medication (including injections), and provide care to many different species of animals. I'm now working at Home Sweet Home Dog Resort here in Lawrence and absolutely love it! I have experience with all different types of dogs, from older Pomeranians and English Spaniels to high strung Border Collie puppies and 150-pound Mastiffs. After moving away for a couple of years, I'm finally back in my hometown and so excited to meet new (and familiar) people and their pets!
