I have worked with and looked after dogs for over 16 years. I worked for Canine Companions in Northern California as an Instructor assistant training guide dogs for people with disabilities. I also worked as an in-flight attendant for Pet Airways flying dogs all over the country as far as Los Angeles to Long Island. I was responsible for all the dogs during flight and during pickup and drop offs at the airport lounges. I had to pay close attention to any specific medical needs as well as specific feeding and medication times for each dog which at times would be up to as many as 30 dogs. I also currently Pet sit for a few friends and clients including my close friend and celebrity interior designer Kari Whitman. Kari is the owner of Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue in Los Angeles, California. I often look after her "instagram famous" dog Hank while Kari fly's between Boulder and California for work. If you're curious, Hank is a rather large dog who became famous overnight on instagram for flying first class and being overweight due to a medical condition. #hanktheworldtraveler is his name on Intagram. I am also very active and go hiking about 3 times a week which is always better with a dog by your side! My main line of work is Architectural Photography. The reason I decided to join Rover.com is to have the opportunity to hang out with some pups, meet some new interesting people locally and make a little extra cash on the side.
