Hello! I'm Callie. I’m a registered nurse. I grew up in Northern Arizona, surrounded by animals my whole life (3 dogs, 3 cats, horses, and chickens). After months of convincing my parents, I bought my first puppy at age 11. I potty-trained her, took her to obedience lessons and vet visits, stayed up at night when she was sick, cleaned the food out of her wrinkles daily, etc. At a young age, I understood the responsibilities of taking care of a dog. (And developed an undying love for all things pug related). Being around animals has been my life. In college, I rescued numerous cats and kittens and lived with roommates who had pug puppies, Aussie Shepards, Irish wolfhounds, and Rhodesian ridgebacks. COVID-19 brought on a career change, so I recently finished my accelerated BSN. I usually work in the hospital 1-2 days per week, so I definitely understand the need for pet care while you are working!
