Hi there! My name is Callie. I have recently moved from Virginia and have made a big transition to Wisconsin life. Over the years, I have watched many of my friends beloved pets, and have helped take care of our family dog (a West Highland Terrier) and now our grandparents dog (Jack Russell terrier). While these are smaller and older breeds, I have also taken care of my brothers husky mix, and a golden doodle. I love taking dogs on long walks, of course showing them love and affection, and making sure they are never bored. Old or young, I want to make sure the dog is comfortable with me at all times.

Callie was an amazing dog sitter! She was great with our dog even when he was having stomach issues. Our dog loves Callie, she would come over as many as three times a day to feed, walk, and play with our dog. Callie won't just watch your dog, she'll be one of its best friends!
I've asked Callie to dog-sit for me many times, and it's no wonder why. My dog is very nervous around people who aren't me or my parents, but Callie's able to calm her down and make her feel comfortable every time she's around. Callie has a great care for animals; she will make your pet a priority and treat them like her own. She's able to make them feel comfortable and relaxed and she will give them the attention they desire. I have no doubt that she would be an excellent dog-sitter for others!
Callie was extremely dependable, loving and caring of our 2 blind dogs. I have never hesitated to leave them in her care. I highly recommend her services.

I want to make sure the dog is comfortable with me when I enter the home. I know that dogs can become territorial and I want to make sure that they know that I am not a threat. I let dogs approach me in their own time and of course once they are more comfortable they are given many scratches and play time.

I would like to know before hand If the dog has any special needs, medication, or any aggression to strangers. I handle smaller and medium size dogs better, simply because I’m smaller and want to make sure I have a good grip on the leash when walking. I love pretty much all breeds, but sadly I’m not strong enough to walk larger, heavier dogs and would fear they would become loose and run away from me.
A typical day
I would absolutely adore taking dogs on nature trails, but sadly not many are close by. I usually walk our dog around the neighborhood, or the local park. We have an abundance of toys, so throwing the ball around or tug of war are my favorites.

I am currently waiting on my job to start, and when it does I will be part time. I will also be attending college soon so my schedule may become a bit limited. However that is in the future so for now I am open to many times throughout the day.
