Pet care experience
I currently work at Uberdog, a dog boarding place in West Hartford! I’ve taken care of dogs since I was old enough to know what I was doing. I’ve had large and small dogs my entire life and on top of that, have family connections with two local veterinarians. I want to share this love for furry friends and help out as much as I can! I currently work part-time but my schedule can be altered to fit my Rover schedule. I am available whenever I’m needed for any necessary services! I have a fenced in and a very large backyard. I live right across from campus and will be able to walk to dogs and take them out with plenty of safety.

For as long as I have known Callahan, which is over 9 years, she has been an excellent and loving pet owner. She has had many dogs throughout her childhood and even now as an adult. I have seen Callahan demonstrate responsible skills when it comes to taking care of all of her dogs. In addition to this, they become her best friends and she develops a strong bond with all of them. They often sleep in her bed with her overnight for snuggles. I think this position would be a perfect fit for Callahan!
Callahan has had at least two dogs in her life since she was born. She fed, walked and cared for 6 labs (3 have passed), a blue tic coon hound, a mini Yorkie, and a puggle. When she was about 8, she was walking our (big) male Iab who saw a squirrel and took off, but Callahan wouldn’t let go of the leash because she was afraid for our dog - so he pulled her across our gravel road. She was all scraped up, both legs and knees bleeding but she was so proud she hung on to Jax and kept him safe. Anyone would be very lucky to have her caring for their dog!
