Pet care experience
I have grown up with animals my entire life (of all sorts dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, ferrets, gerbils, ducks, goats, cows, horses, chickens) thanks to my mother’s extensive animal background and business in grooming, boarding and veterinary technician work. I am striving to become a veterinarian with an extensive background in animal husbandry and care with a BS in Small Animal Science and Minor in Large Animal Science from Delaware Valley University. I am the owner and founder of Calla’s Critter Rescue a 501(c)3 non-profit who offers quality care to stray animals until their forever home is found. I am also recently titled head veterinary technician at the Affordable Spay Neuter Clinic and Pet Care after working with them for 9 years starting in high school, through college and now post undergraduate degree until I apply and go to veterinary school to become a doctor. I would truly offer the best quality care for your furry family member(s) with knowledge in medication distribution (oral and/or injections), emergency situations, animal behaviors, veterinary technician work and any other companion animal needs. I do have two cats of my own, Stella and Tiny. Tiny is a tripod kitty who was a failed foster through my rescue and Stella has been with me for 5 years also a foster fail. I love my two fur babies to pieces as you will see in the many photos I have of them (the all grey and the tortoise shell kitties). I want your pet(s) to have the best experience and care, free of any stress for them and you. Taking care of animals is what I do best and I hope to be entrusted with yours. It was great meeting Calla and our new German Shepherd puppy loved her !! This was our first time leaving the puppy and she was happy and tired out when we returned . We will definitely call Calla again and would recommend her - she kept us informed while we were away which we really appreciated as new owners!!
Calla is an amazing pet sitter! I own Diane’s Discount Pet Supplies & Adoption Center and have MANY pets of my own. She is always reliable, kind and caring. She even sleeps with my four dogs, including my snoring blind dog. Oftentimes I foster litters of puppies and I can always count on Calla to take excellent care of them. She has whelped litters, bottle-fed puppies, and given medications to some pretty tough customers. Calla has been pet sitting for me for about 6 yrs. The fact that she is a vet. tech I never have to worry about leaving my menagerie of pets in her very capable hands.

A typical day
I usually will follow whatever schedule the animal is used to. Whether this is a certain amount of walks per day on a certain trail or through a neighborhood. I do not like messing with an animals schedule so I would most likely follow this to a tee or follow whatever the owner would want.

Availability
Monday-Wednesday I do work 12 hours as a veterinary technician running anesthesia on surgical patients. I will go over more details to make arrangements and options for your animals specifically dogs to be let out during the day on these specific days if need be.
