Pet care experience
I’ve been around animals my entire life. We have never not had an animal in the house. I’m mainly experienced with dogs, but I do have a bit of knowledge with cats too. I’m currently a volunteer at Central Valley Rescue Railroad. I take the dogs on walks and also help out with puppy transportations. I also train them if I have the chance to. To be honest I’m not the best trainer in the world, but I can get dogs and cats to do the basic commands.

Calista is a wonderful individual with a huge heart for animals! She volunteers at a local rescue where she is compassionate, attentive and observant of each animal she is in contact with. I have no doubt that Calista would provide that same dedication and provide piece of mind owners look for while they are away from home.
I met Calista last year and have had many opportunities to volunteer along side her at the Central Valley Rescue Railroad Organization. She has a wonderful love and understanding for dogs (and cats), and it is very apparent every time I have worked with her, and in our dog-related conversations during our (rescue) transportation road trips to Southern California. I’m retired law-enforcement, and I highly recommend Calista. She is a person that I trust, and has demonstrated to be very reliable and responsible.

I’m living at a house that has a cat living with us. If I am unable to keep your pet in my house because of the two animals not getting along I will happily take them on a walk or to the dog park. There are many places for me to take your dogs on walks around my house. Also I do live about ten minutes (by car) from a dog park. If your dog is uncomfortable at the dog park I can always spend some quality time with him/her at the regular park across the way.

Availability
I’m currently available whenever I’m needed. I’m in between looking for jobs, so the statement before this may change. I’m a volunteer at a rescue, so I’m busy every Saturday nearly all day. Also once I get the money for college I’ll be studying to become a veterinarian assistant. The school I chose is very flexible on scheduling, so I can watch your pet and study too.
