Hi pet owner! Let me first just say that taking care of animals is a passion of mine. I connect easily with them and I love being around them (sometimes over the company of other humans). I'm a Midwestern guy living in San Francisco who loves teaching, long hikes, yoga, and learning new things. I'm an elementary school teacher with free time in the evenings and weekends. I'm also sometimes free around major holidays. I'm an athletic guy, so if you have an active dog and he/she needs some exercise, it's something I enjoy doing. Not to be excluded, I have experience taking care of senior dogs and dogs with social anxiety. I also enjoy playing and cuddling with my feline friends (on their terms, of course). I grew up on a farm in Michigan and as a child I used to take care of dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, and even a few horses! I regularly dog and house sit for two close friends when they are out of town and have a good relationship with their pets, one of which is a senior dog with special needs. My roommate has an adorable cat and we get along famously. Neighbors, friends, and repeat clients can vouch for my excellent pet care.
