Hello, I'm Cal. I grew up on a farm training working dogs, and have extensive experience with high risk rescues. I work from home now, and can dedicate all of my time to making sure your pups are well taken care of. We have a fenced in back yard, and a full floor of our house dedicated to your furry friends. My wife, Kelly, and I have two pups of our own that get along with other pets spectacularly. Nero is a rescue who has come leaps and bounds from his old life to the teddy bear he is today. Lilo is a sweetheart that lives to play and snuggle. We are very hands-on with our care, as dogs are such a large part of our lives. We will keep you up to date with constant communication and photo updates to give you peace of mind. We look forward to meeting you and your loved ones, and can't wait to do everything we can to ensure your pets have a spectacular stay!

Cal & Kelly provided superb care for our Jack, providing lots of love and play, following well his medicine and food regimens and tolerating our little guy's special quirks with good humor. We will certainly return for Jack's care in the future. Highly recommend them.
Cal and Kelly were fantastic! We'd never done Rover before and were nervous about leaving our dog with strangers. Cal was almost immediate in replying to communicatons. We had the meet and greet beforehand and were able to see their home and the space where he'd be staying. They were very good about sending pics and updates throughout the stay. Our dog is afraid of thunder, and they gave him extra attention and snuggles when a storm popped up. Cal was extremely responsible about making sure our dog was happy with the other dogs, and they were also on top of things when our dog found another dog's energy to be a bit too much. We would be very comfortable having our dog stay with Cal and Kelly again in the future!

We have a back yard with a 6.5 foot tall fence and a full floor of our house to play. We also have multiple rooms in which to segregate dogs for safety purposes if absolutely needed. We have a great relationship with our local vet, and live only five minutes away.

Let me know if your dogs have any special needs or behaviors that I will have to account for. I am happy to accommodate where I can. We do have a brand new baby, so unfortunately loud barkers may not be the best fit.
A typical day
I wake up at 6am to let the dogs out into the back yard, and work out in my gym. Then at 7am I make breakfast for everyone. At noon and 3pm I take them out to run around the yard. At 5pm I feed the dogs their second meal and take them out again. At 7pm and 10pm they go out for the last time, and we all settle down for bed.

I work from home, and my wife is a school counselor, so we have someone available 24/7 to check in on your fuzzy friends. We are open to take your dogs for any schedule from one day to one month!
