I am a doctoral student studying Animal Science at Iowa State, I have cared for many different typed of animals in the past from cats and dogs, fish, pigs and sheep! I am in Ames most weekends. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask, I am willing to travel for some openings as well.

My dog is crate trained and is in his crate when I am out of the house for longer than an hour. I have previous dog sitting and house sitting experience and spend evenings walking dogs that I am watching or playing fetch in the backyard.

It’s important to know if the dog is reactive to others of if they have any triggers that I need to accommodate for. I also would like to know their energy level, to be able to plan how much time should be spent exercising them.
A typical day
I walk my dog 3-4 miles every day, otherwise we frequently go to the dog park! I spend 30-45 minutes with my dog before I go to campus.

Availability
I have a dog and already in the routine of letting pets out mornings, afternoons and evenings. Since I am used to this schedule I can easily add another dog to my daily schedule.
