Thanks for visiting my profile! I've volunteered at a nonprofit shelter dedicated to helping dogs find their forever homes. During my volunteer experience I was able to learn valuable tips on how to properly handle dogs while walking, feeding, playing with, and cleaning up after them as well as bonding with them to gain their trust. I've done drop ins and walks for various clients in the past, but most clients have had more than one pup for me to take care of. Given my experience with dogs while growing up, owning a few myself over the years, currently raising a puppy, volunteering, and Rover bookings, I can ensure that I am a responsible and caring fit for your pup's needs. I do ask that during our "meet and greet" (or messaging back and forth if you prefer) that you inform me of everything I need to know about your pet. Mainly: their exercise and behavior habits, bathroom habits (if they need to be walked in order to poop, things like that), how they are around other dogs, their escape tactics (so I can outsmart them!), eating habits, treats, and any other routines you'd like me to follow for you. For example: I once was a regular drop in sitter for a family who asked me to have their dogs "sit" before I'd feed them. If you and your pup have a routine route that you'd like me to follow during walks - let me know! I will go above and beyond to accommodate your dog while keeping them in their environment.
