Pet care experience
Special Education teacher by day, animal lover by night! Whether it’s walks on the beach with Piper, training sessions, fostering dogs, or caring for young puppies, I love being surrounded by animals. I grew up with so many pets- We had bunnies, dogs of all sizes and breeds, cats, lizards, and more. Between my and my husband’s work schedules, we are never gone for more than 5 hours during the week, and are home on weekends. We love pets and are willing to do as much as we can to help families out. I have experience working with animals of all ages sizes and breeds. I am always just a phone call away, and promise to send lots of pictures of your pet while you are away! I can’t wait to meet your pet!

We have an unfenced yard, and also have a 30 foot tie out to let your dog play while still tethered. We live in a condo with a fence on one side, but the left and right are open. Our dog plays off leash in the yard, so it all depends on the dog. At home, I can easily crate your dog if needed.

No breed preferences, just want to be sure that they are friendly and will enjoy the company of our resident dog/cats. Piper loves making new friends and welcomes all animals into our home. She’s great at sharing and gets so excited when we have visitors! It would be important to know your feeding schedule, your dog’s sleeping arrangements, and anything that I can do to make them more comfortable during their stay!
A typical day
We live close to walking trail, and are in close proximity to a park as well. We often visit Pleasure House Point or walk down by East Beach/Oceanview.

Availability
We are never gone for more than 4-5 hours during the weekdays, and are home on weekends. Dogs that stay with us spend lots of time playing outside, enjoying enrichment toys, and going on walks!
