Pet care experience
(Back from hiatus & available!) I've been a Rover sitter since 2015, periodically taking breaks to focus on my career and business. I have extensive pet care experience - from dogs to chameleons and everything in between. Growing up around animals - dogs, horses, chickens, and cats - has fostered a deep love and appreciation for furry (or feathery) friends. I currently have the privilege of a hyper-flexible work schedule, which means I can easily accommodate your pet's schedule to maintain comfort and routine. Please don't hesitate to share any important details about your pets - what they love, what they prefer, and any special needs they might have. Your input is invaluable to me, as it helps me tailor my care to meet their individual requirements. I have had Stevie since she was 2 months old and she has never stayed with anyone in the 2 years that I have had her. So of course I was a wreck about leaving her with someone I have just met. Caitlyn was great! She sent me pics and texts. And Stevie was never alone. Jessa kept Stevie company as well. Stevie had a great time in her fenced in back yard and was never caged. Pets are most comfortable when their routines are maintained and they stay in their own homes - it's one of the reasons I love Rover as an alternative to stressful, expensive overnight boarding. When I am away, my own dog stays in our home with friends or neighbors to care for her, so you can trust I believe strongly in in-home pet care. Consistency is key, and maintaining your pet's established routine will prevent accidents, extra stress, and out-of-character behavior. I will work to maintain your pet's routine and meet their daily needs whether that be walking, cuddling, or playing in a nearby park.
