I care for all dogs big to small
Pet care experience
I have raised and cared for many dogs throughout my life. The two dogs I've owned as an adult have been adult rescues from local shelters. I am comfortable with caring for elderly dogs. One of my regular clients is a 16 year old chihuahua! My home has a large fully fenced yard and a 3 year old playful pug. I am willing to care for your dog in your home as well. Local references available upon request. About this sitter: I have raised and cared for many dogs throughout my life. The two dogs I've owned as an adult have been adult rescues from local shelters. Most of my life I've spent as a large breed owner. Our present family dog is a petite pug (she was a runt) who we rescued from a shelter. About my yard We have a fully fenced backyard that is the size of a regular city lot. 1/4 of it is a patio. The rest is grass/garden area. There are several large trees and plenty of shade in the hotter months of the year. My experience administering medication Yes. One of my regular dog sitting clients requires daily medication.
Reviews
Caitlin has a large back yard so Oscar had plenty of room to rent, plus he was taken to anoff leash park. When we picked up Oscar he seemed like he had a good time, and even though we were there he kept going between Caitlin and us, which says he really enjoyed his stay.
Caitlin accepted Takoda knowing she did not always get along well with other dogs. Within an hour Caitlin sent a text message telling me that her dog and mine were playing together in her backyard. This was great news and reassuring to me so I could relax and enjoy the play. Caitlin is a knowledgable and caring dog lover. I recommend her highly.
Caitlin is a compassionate and caring dog lover. Padme, Caitlin's current little Pug, is part of the family and clearly loved and cherished. Sanook, Caitlin's former dog (may he rest in peace), was pure joy thanks to Caitlin's loving care. Caitlin named him "Sanook" because it Thailand it means happy time, which is what he gave to the family and she gave to him. Sanook was desperate need of care and love when Caitlin rescued him. He quickly became part of the family. He was a cuddly, lovable ball of fur who left an imprint on everyone who met him. Caitlin's careful training helped Sanook to be gentle around babies and a wonderful companion to the family. Caitlin is a wonderful person to care for your dogs. I know she would do an excellent job and your dogs would be in good hands. She is a natural dog lover.

Information Caitlin W. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know what kind of activity level they are used to and whether they have any known aggression issues with other dogs, children or adults.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks I usually take dogs to the dog park for off leash fun. If that isn't your dog's cup of tea I can take them for on leash walks in our neighborhood or even for a trail hike. Your dog's sleeping arrangement In the living room with our dog. Please feel free to provide a crate or dog bed if that is what your dog prefers. Time I'll spend with your dog In our home the dogs are with us most of the day. With the exception of running errands etc for a few hours here and there. If your dog has separation anxiety that can be addressed in our routine. I'm happy to bring your dog along in the car for short trips or take them on a hike with us if that's something they enjoy.
