Mia is my 12 year old dog who is very low key and friendly. My entire life I have been surrounded by dogs - growing up we had a Shih-Tzu, German Shepherds, a Husky, a Gordon Setter and now Mia in the house. I also spent some time volunteering with the Humane Society, walking and playing with dogs in my spare time so I have quite a bit of experience with new (and sometimes difficult!) dogs. I believe in demonstrating a strong but kind presence when meeting a new dog to make them comfortable, and being as engaging and loving as possible. I can just as easily entertain a high energy puppy who wants to run around at the park for hours as I can sit and cuddle with an older dog who just wants some love and a quiet environment. Mia loves making new friends and is welcoming and easy going with visiting dogs!
