Pet care experience
I have always loved animals and have had pets for as long as I can remember. They are members of the family to me. I have years of experience as a dog owner and have had a variety of temperaments, ages, and breeds. Particularly have experience with elder dog care.

Caitlin has done a great job taking care of our elderly dog, Ellie. She is patient and caring and is diligent in her communication. Highly recommend!
Caitlin did a great job looking after my cat buddy while I was out of town. She was accommodating with setting up an initial visit, and knew how to interact with my cat so that he could get used to her. The daily rover cards she sent made me more comfortable with leaving him alone as well!
Caitlin clearly has a heart for animals! She took excellent care of our elderly lab mix during walks while we were out of the house working. We will be repeat customers of hers. She is prompt with communication and trustworthy. Five out of five stars FOR SURE!

I always try to greet pets in a calm and relaxed manner, giving them time to get used to me. For example, verbally greeting them and then offering my hand to sniff. During my in-home checkins I will take care of the necessities and then be sure to give them some love and attention. Please let me know any specific requirements.

A typical day
I like to try to balance some quality time with your pet and some exertion time, exercise if they are able or just playing gently if that's what they can handle. I have experience walking dogs ranging from young and energetic who need some good exercise to older dogs that just want what I call "smell-o-vision" tour around the neighborhood.

I currently work remotely and can easily take care of a local check-in before work, on break, or after work. I will be available on many weekends as well.
