After returning from Mozambique, Africa in January 2018 from 3 years working in the Peace Corps, I worked in my hometown of Columbus, Ohio as a Rover sitter. I have moved to Boston for a new job, but would like to continue sitting here because of my positive experience with Rover. I have grown up with dogs and other small pets all my life. My first dog was a 2 year old Australian cattle dog rescue. I have also cared for a rabbit, guinea pigs, newts, and fish. Currently, I have a 4 year old husky rescue and 8 year old lab mix who we adopted at 8 weeks old. These two love taking long walks and playing together in our fenced in yard. They are very easygoing and welcoming to other dogs who come to visit our home. My work experience with dogs is extensive. While in college, I worked at Camp Bow Wow. After college, while completing my Peace Corps application, I worked at Pet Palace, interned at Acme Canine and fostered dogs through Powell Paws. These jobs enabled me to gain experience with senior dogs and special needs dogs.
