Pet care experience
Hi! I have been taking care of all types of animals since early childhood. I love all animals, big and small! I have hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, cats, rodents (chinchillas, guinea pigs, etc), birds, and farm animals (chickens, cows, horses, goats, etc). I am fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (5 shots), and the flu for 2022.

Caitlin was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Maisie, for the 10 days we were out of town! It was obvious upon meeting her that not only did she genuinely care about all animals, but she was quite the natural with them too. Caitlin sent us consistent updates during Maisie's stay and we could tell from the pictures that our dog was happy, comfortable, and well taken care of. Would highly recommend and would definitely trust her with our furbaby again!
Caitlin did an exceptional job! Our little guy isn’t the easiest, and she was caring and compassionate for him. Great communication. Excited to work with her again soon!
Daisy loved staying over at Caitlin’s house! She had fun playing with the dogs and even made a new cat friend. We loved getting the photos and texts. Daisy can be a bit needy, so we really appreciated that Caitlin have her some extra attention. We’ll definitely have Daisy stay with Caitlin again! It’s such a relief to have found a caring and reliable pet sitter!

For new clients: (1) I require a meet and greet prior to any booking. I want to set your pet up for success! (2) If we have not had a meet and greet, I cannot accept same-day doggy daycare requests. Meet and greets are FREE and it helps me learn more about your pets' needs! I strive to provide the safest and happiest experience for your pets. Expect our first meeting to be approximately 30-45 minutes. Policies for boarding: (1) All dogs remain on leash when outside (I don't have a fenced-in yard). I have a wide range of long leads (10ft to 30ft long) so we can do structured and unstructured walks + sniff breaks! (2) I never leave a client's pet unattended in my home. While I WFH your pup gets to hang with me in my office for extra attention and snuggle time! (3) I do not visit dog parks. I believe there are too many uncontrolled variables at play in a dog park and your pet's safety is my utmost priory.

Let me know if your dog has reactivity, dog aggression, shyness, or has a special toy/game they really enjoy! I am happy to work with and accommodate reactive dogs on a case-by-case basis. 1. Do you know if your dog is food or toy-motivated? 2. Where does your dog sleep at night? (Crate, their bed, your bed? etc.) 3. When was your last vet check-up? (please be up to date on vaccines) 4. How much does your dog like to bark? 5. What are your dog's leash manners like? (puller, dawdler, couch potato) 6. Has your pet ever boarded before? (please specify if it was a kennel or someone's home) 7. Are there any food restrictions or allergies? 8. Is there any training commands you'd like reinforced during your stay? (I'd love to keep training continuity for you!)
A typical day
My home is on a quiet street in the Oakland Hills. Some pups enjoy sunbathing on my deck, watching birds, and taking in the scenery. Other dogs like to play fetch/tug of war in my front yard with me. I have a wide array of food puzzles and dog toys to help mentally stimulate and tire out even the most rambunctious of pups!
