I was raised in a family of pet lovers and animal whisperers. We had at least 2 dogs and 2 cats in our family throughout my entire upbringing. All of our pets were rescues of various breeds and sizes, and they all lived an "indoor/outdoor" lifestyle. They spent their days roaming my family's plot of land in the country, and their evenings cozied up inside with my siblings and me. I was taught early how to tend to each pet's individual needs based on their age and physical health. I learned how to remove ticks and thorns from their fur, how to bath them, brush them, walk them, clip their nails, and administer any necessary medications using various tricks of the trade. I have such fond memories of my youth being surrounded by animals, but in adulthood thus far I have led a busy life full of long work hours, travel, and apartments that don't allow pets. I miss having sweet fur babies to care for in my daily life, which is why I would be so honored to lend a hand in caring for yours!
