Pet care experience
My family has always rescued, adopted and cared for domestic pets. Working with animals that can not advocate for themselves is a passion of mine. Any time spent with a pet brings me joy and I hope to provide them comfort while loved ones are away. I have experience with rescuing, rehoming, dog walking and pet/house sitting during the day and/or overnight. I am comfortable administering medications if applicable and assisting with the varying needs of an owner and their beloved pets. Thank you for your consideration! I am available for overnight and day time care any days and times with notice. Being a mom with a dog of my own, most requests can be accommodated with ample time to plan. I care for pets in large fenced backyards and am also comfortable walking any breed at any weight. Whatever the pet is used to is what I like to stick to. Maintaining routine is best.

Caitlin was amazing for our kittie, Birdie. He can be a bit of a handful and has heart failure, which requires medication daily, and she was amazing at taking care of all of it! She took extremely diligent notes, offered to help get our/mail packages and keep an eye on things while we were gone - which was so helpful! She provided fresh water, food and cleaned his litterbox every visit and always kept us updated! We'll definitely use her in the future!

It is helpful to know if your dog is on any daily medication. I like to know if the pets in my care have any food or outdoor allergies, their favorite treats. Whether or not the dog is more comfortable walking with a harness and if he/she is reactive to anything outdoors. Also, how long your pet can be left alone, crated or uncrated during the day, between home visits, if applicable.
A typical day
I like for a pet in my care to experience a typical day and/or overnight as close as possible to the routine they have with their owner. Exercise and play activities vary based on the animal’s limits and what he or she enjoys.
