Pet care experience
i am a dog loving, outdoor enthusiast who's dream is to craft my home away from home small-scale dog boarding business into a full time job for myself so that i can be a stay at home mommy for my son, while doing something i truly love! please help me to get there by bringing your dog to me on your next weekend away or long vacation. i also have several years experience as a dog walker, and would be available to take local dogs on 30 to 60 minute walks (off leash preferred, but on leash also an option.) we have a fenced in backyard and have been known to be frequent visitors to ashland state park. because we live in the woods, please make sure your dog is current on their flea and tick medication, as well as all vaccines. we look forward to hosting your pup and making them a part of our family during their stay!

Caitlan was great! She got back to us right away, answeed all of our questions, and was warm, friendly and patient whenever we spoke with her. After the meet and greet, we both felt very comfortable leaving Fred with Caitlin and her family for the week. When we picked Fred up, it was immediately clear that he had enjoyed his stay and that they had taken good care of him. We highly recommend Caitlin.
Caitlin did an excellent job watching my Brittany over an extended weekend. He came home happy and tired.

I would like to meet the dog, and for the dog to meet me and my own pup to make sure we're going to be a good match for one another. This also gives the client an opportunity to see my home, and get a sense of the space their dog will be sharing with us. Each dog has their own personality and I want to understand as much about them as possible so that I can take the best care of them while they're under my roof and have a successful visit. While inside we appreciate a calm dog, but outside we want someone who loves to run and play with our dog Tallulah
A typical day
I love to use the open spaces available to me in my area to take the dogs hiking and walking. In the winter I will take them snowshoeing, and in the summer we can go swimming. I am a very affectionate person who loves dogs of all shapes and sizes. I will make sure they get lots of love and attention while they are with me.
