My husband and I have both grown up with dogs in our home. We have rescued both our dogs and have fostered in the past. We understand that each dog is unique and comes with it's own sets of needs. We want your pet to feel as at home as possible. I have worked at a kennel in the past and was left feeling disheartened by the impersonal experience each dog received. It has encouraged me to help out others to avoid such an experience. As a special education teacher I am able to be home at a reasonable hour. When the weather is nicer, we walk our dogs every day and would be happy to walk yours! We're fortunate enough to live in a very dog friendly neighborhood, so your dog will be able to make lots of new friends. Regardless of weather, we have a large fenced in backyard which our two dogs love to take advantage of everyday! We possibly love animals more then humans so we would love the opportunity to make your pet feel at home.
