I've been a pet sitter for over fifteen years. I started my pet sitting "business" when I was ten by looking after my neighbor's dogs and cats while they were out of town. I've looked after dogs, as well as small mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and fish. I used to work at a vet clinic and kennel in high school, where I learned how to administer medications to cats and dogs, and how to care of dozens of animals on a daily basis. Additionally, I used to work at a zoo and an exotic cat sanctuary, where I worked with various carnivores like red wolves, snow leopards, mountain lions, and jaguars (among other species). If I can take care of those dangerous animals, I'm beyond confident that I can handle any dog that comes my way. My husband and I both of dog handling and training experience, even though we don't have a dog of our own (yet!). We have a nice house with a medium-sized, fenced in yard, where pups can run and play.
