Pet care experience
Active, dog-loving lady with experience caring for medically complex, special-needs animals and pets of all sizes. Past dog-mom but currently I have no dogs of my own and would like to enrich my life by hosting dog-guests. I’m a playful sitter who loves activity but is also experienced with canine elders. Caitlin loves bullies and boxers. We rent a dog-friendly studio with an enclosed yard. Our house is a couple of miles from a very good VCA emergency center. I love taking dogs to the dog beach on weekends if that's something that your pet might enjoy. I can't wait to meet you and your pup! Available for Saturday and Sunday all-day care, as well as evenings and overnight on weekdays. I'm active, love to walk and play with my canine guests! Fun all day! Walking, playtime, hikes, beaches, dogparks or just chilling. Great with senior dogs too (day job is in adult geriatrics). Experience with dogs with anxiety and special needs.

Absolutely fabulous sitter! She was the perfect fit for my dog post surgery. Caitlin gave my dog her pills, monitored the angry incision with frequent photos so that I can feel comfortable while I was entertaining my out of town guests. This was my puppy's first overnight stay away from home and it was successful due to Caitlin's brilliant care. Thank you!
Caitlyn and Cletus are so great with my high energy pup. They are always taking her on walks and to the dog park. They have found so many creative ways to play with her and wear her out. I've used them multiple times and always feel at ease knowing she is in their care.
Caitlin and Cletus were amazing with Lyra. They sent us pictures and updates everyday! She is a pitbull/cattle dog mix, so she is full of energy. They had her on jogs, walks, at the dog park and even found her new activities and toys to play with to keep her busy and out of trouble. Normally, my dog doesn't eat much when we're gone, but with Caitlyn and Cletus, she ate everyday. I was so relieved for her to be in their care. I will definitely use them again! :)
Caitlin and Cletus took great care of Maia while we were away. Very friendly, flexible and accommodating. Lots of pictures and updates. Thank you both!

We would like to know any socialization problems that your dog has in advance so we don't have any surprises on walks. A brief medical history and any special needs that your dog may have will also be discussed. Dogs with severe separation anxiety will not be comfortable on the days I work.
A typical day
Proximity to a dog park, overnight and daycare doggies have the opportunity to visit if they're friendly with other dogs. Open access to a small, fenced yard/patio during the day.

Availability
I work Monday-Friday and am outside of the home from 8-5; so those days your dog would need to be able to use a dog door if they’re not ok or crate trained for about 8 hours. On the weekends I can hang with your pet all day. I love walking, so multiple walks daily are no problem.
