Pet care experience
I was a Veterinary Technician for 7 years, I recently retired from that position but want to continue animal care. I went to Vet tech school and have my degree in Veterinary Technology. I am very experienced in taking care of dogs and cats of all ages. I am always the first one to get called when my friends or family have animal related questions or need their pet looked at when there is a problem. I am experienced in giving medications to pets including: Oral, topical, and injectable.

I have a fenced in yard here at my home for dogs to play, I also have a canopy outside and small baby pools for dogs to cool off in when the weather is hot. I have a notebook that I keep record of all of your pets information, this includes any medications needed, how many times a day they are fed and how much, sleep schedule etc.

I like to know behavioral issues ahead of time, like dog aggression, anxiety, etc. I usually prefer to take in dog friendly dogs because of the 2 I have at home. I also like to know if there are any health issues, and any medications I would need to give. If it is a puppy, I would like to know if they are not fully potty trained.
A typical day
I have a backyard with dog pools and a canopy for the hotter days, in the mornings or later at night we like to take the dogs on walks around the neighborhood. My parents also have a fenced in acre in Pottsboro where we take dogs to run around for the day, it is an option we can discuss.

I am currently available from Monday-Sunday most weeks for boarding, house visits, daycare, and dog walking. I am mostly home all day unless I am needing to run errands for a few hours.
