Pet care experience
Thank you for visiting my page! I have owned pets my entire life and really feel like pets complete a home. I now get my fix from watching dogs for others, which has allowed me to enjoy many different dogs of all sizes, age, and breed. I get a kick out of their different personalities, and they truly do become a temporary member of my family while in my care. Some facts about me: 1. I have two boys, ages 4 and 5. They are the perfect balance of rambunctious and energetic mixed with cuddly and gentle. Just like me, they have experience with a lot of different breeds, sizes, and personalities and have done wonderfully with every dog we’ve ever cared for 2. I have a fully fenced in backyard. When the dogs are in the backyard, the kids and I are usually out there as well running with them and playing fetch. You do not have to worry that your dog will get out! 3. There is a very large park about a block from my house that has an amazing walking trail. Dogs love it because there is always something to look at and smell 4. I am comfortable administering medicine and other dietary needs to your dog. I have done it countless times and you can trust that your dog will be properly medicated while in my care. 5. I am a jogger. If possible, I will jog with your dog once a day. I run about 3 miles per run, but can accommodate how far your dog can go. If your dog isn’t much of a runner, don’t fret! We do strolls too 6. I only board two dogs at once if they are from the same household. Otherwise I only board one dog at a time 7. My rate is my rate. I will never increase my rate due to breed, size, age, or during “peak” times. The rate I charge on a Tuesday in winter is the same rate I will charge on the 4th of July 8. My house is regularly inspected for ants, ticks, fleas, and bed bugs. I’ve never had any cases, but I like the peace of mind for both my family and yours. 9. I have experience with a very broad range of dogs. From miniature to massive, I’ve seen it all. I have also boarded many different personality types - from attention seekers to anxious pups to old souls. I will adapt my schedule and household to meet the needs of your dog. 10. I will provide as many or as few pics as you want. I’m naturally a picture taker and generally send pictures every day or every other day. I always reach out the first day to let you know how your dog is adjusting. Besides that, the number of updates is solely up to you. If you want an update twice a day with pictures, I can do that! If you want an update only if there is an issue, I can do that too! I want to make sure that you are comfortable, and I know how much you worry while your dog is away. Whatever I can do to make the stay easy for you and your dog I will do! Things to bring with you on a stay: 1. Dog food and treats! Every dog is different and eats different food. Switching foods is not healthy, so please provide the food for your dogs stay. If your dog is allowed treats while they stay with me, please provide those as well. I have bowls that are cleaned and sanitized after each stay that I can use, but if you have certain bowls that you would like me to use please bring them with you 2. A crate if you would like your dog crated while I am out of the house or for sleeping at night. If not, the dog will have free roam of the house 3. Toys! I have a few toys that your dog can play with, but if they have any special toys from home I suggest bringing them. They always like having little pieces of home with them during their stay 4. Dog bed or blanket. If your dog sleeps on a bed or special blanket, please bring it with you. I do have blankets that they can lay on, but sometimes dogs prefer “their” blanket. Of course they are more than welcome to crash on the couch or bed if that’s more their style 5. Leash and harness. In order to walk your dog, please bring a leash. If your dog uses a harness or gentle leader to help with walks, please provide that as well During your dogs stay I will be available 24/7. It is never too early, too late, or a bad day to reach out! I answer all messages quickly so that you are kept in the loop!

Caitlin was wonderful with our lab, Chocolate Chip. She took care of just Chip (no other dogs) while we were gone on a two week vacation, so our puppy-dog received her undivided attention. Sniffing and playing in the grassy, fenced in back yard with Caitlin’s two boys made Chip very happy. It was like she was on vacation too! We will definitely use Caroline again. Thank you!!
Not pleased that on our wedding day Payton’s puppy behavior became too much even having watched her prior several times and I had to spend the entire wedding day working with Rover staff to find an emergency sitter for her for the wedding and honeymoon. On top of it sitter refused to transport Payton, causing incredible stress to us. Thankfully rover staff was superb in dealing with this unfortunate situation and our girl was well taken care of for our trip, very displeased how this stay was handled.
Caitlin is awesome! Regular (amazing!) pictures and updates, way drop off/pickup, and she was really nice. My dogs clearly enjoyed their stay with her. Would definitely use her to watch them again. Thanks, Caitlin!
Caitlin took great care of Digory! We look forward to having Digory stay with her again!
