Hi! I'm Caitlin, a full-time PhD student/teacher and a part-time pet caregiver/lover. I grew up in a house with several dogs (Cotons de Tulear), and I've been a pet-sitter and dog-walker since 2017. I currently have two delightful and spoiled rescue cats at home. I'll go the extra mile to make sure your pet feels loved and has a good experience! I enjoy brisk walks (and some light jogging, if your dog wants to!) but also love playing and snuggling with your pet if they like that too. I'm based on the Maryland side of metro DC, but have a car so I can travel a bit to take care of your doggo or cat. Stubborn dogs who hate walking are my specialty - I'll get them to walk a bit if no one else can!

Caitlin went above and beyond to make sure our elderly house cat, Chani, was very well cared for while we were out of town. Chani is a very affectionate cat and needs lots of human contact. Caitlin showered her with attention and affection. Except for her regular humans' presence, Chani had everything she usually does on a daily basis including pets, backrubs, brushes, and kisses, even a walk outside with her harness. Being an elderly kitty, she has to take a blood pressure pill every day or her blood pressure will spike and she'll start to lose her vision, so we're very thankful that Caitlin is experienced with administering medication to pets. Chani took to Caitlin right away and immediately felt at ease with her. We know this because of the many pictures and videos Caitlin sent us showing Chani being at ease and affectionate. When our flight home was delayed for several hours Caitlin graciously agreed to an emergency extra visit to make sure Chani took her medicine and had her dinner. That was really great. She is a great pet sitter and we highly recommend her.
Caitlin did a wonderful job watching our dog, Frank, for five days while we were out of the country. Great communication throughout the whole process. Would definitely book with her again!

A typical day depends on what your pet likes and normally does! Based on what you tell me, this will generally include playtime and snuggle time (lots of pets). We can do long walks if your dogs like that, or short ones if they prefer!
