Pet care experience
I will provide the same love and attention to your fur babies that you would provide if you were home. I started working on rover because I love animals, and I can't have pets of my own (husband is allergic). I have cared for a variety of pets from dogs to parrots. I am a high-energy person that can make sure your dog is well exercised or your cat is well snuggled. I would be happy to assist with grooming, training, or dispensing medications for your animals. As a bonus for all the plant parents, I am an avid gardener and would be happy to take care of your plants while you are away. I look forward to getting to know you and your wonderful pets. Caitlin was fantastic as a house sitter during my three week trip. She took great care of my kitty (even took her out on walks), watered my plants, and was responsible and communicative. It was my first time taking such a long trip away and Caitlin made me feel confident that everything was in great hands!
Caitlin did a great job house sitting and watching my dogs and cat while I was in the hospital. It was apparent she really likes dogs and enjoyed being with them. It was nice not having to worry about my dogs.

I have no breed preferences, but I would love to hear a few words about your dog's personality and play preferences before starting. If they have separation anxiety or mistrust of strangers, I would like to schedule a meet and greet as soon as possible so that I can start earning your pet's trust while you are still present to facilitate safe meetings. Safety for myself and your pet is my top priority.
A typical day
I am an active person. I run, play soccer and garden. I will happily take your dogs for runs/walks, play outside, and generally make sure that they are having a doggone good time.

Availability
I am a graduate student at the university and my schedule is 9-6 with a lunch break sometime in the afternoon. When I am pet sitting, I will typically spend large amounts of time socializing with the animals in the evening after work. I like to go on long walks or spend extended playtime with the animals on the weekends when I can.
