**NOT A TRUSTWORTHY PERSON FOR YOUR HOME.** This review and its contents have already been shared with a Rover Support specialist, but felt strongly that my experience should be shared with those looking to book a trusted, honest sitter for their animals. I had been working with Caitlin for months, and without issue. My dog, Georgia, loved her and she came for a meet and greet when we were first looking for a sitter. She even rescheduled her days she missed because she was out sick, and very apologetic. But the last few days, I would receive messages that she was running late and noticed she had brought someone else with her during one of her visits (without permission). Not a huge deal, since I knew Georgia would be fine until she got there and she might have just needed a ride to my home. UNTIL I came home yesterday to my side door unlocked and messaged her for a friendly reminder without a response. Then, I received another disturbing situation today. 1. The sitter messaged me (after being prompted) an hour later than the scheduled time to say she was running late from a lunch rush and was getting my dog a treat on her way but would be there soon. 2. Another 30 minutes go by, and I still don't see anyone on my outdoor cameras or get a notification that she's arrived. 3. Suddenly, I see her previous friend, who is a stranger to me and not a certified Rover sitter, unlock the security pad on my home and go inside. 4. The person leaves 15 minutes after arriving, and is evidently talking to the actual sitter on the phone to ensure she's using the correct code to lock our front door. 5. Within minutes, I receive a photo message of my dog from the sitter as if indicating that she was having a visit with my animal. 6. I respond by calling the sitter through the Rover number and sending her a message to ask that we talk, and no response. If you value your safety, and the security and well-being of your animals, you WILL NOT entrust this person to come to your home. Providing a secure, private code to another person is illegal and a huge violation of her position as a sitter.

Caitlin has taken care of our dogs several times and she is amazing. Our dogs are always so happy to see her that they forget about us being gone. We definitely recommend her for anyone that is looking for someone to care for their pets.
