Hi! My name is Caitlin, and I would love to help you look after your cats! I just moved to Portland and I'm settling into the Tigard/Beaverton area. If you’re looking for a sitter who specifically understands cats and their needs, you’ve found the right person! I've always grown up surrounded by cats, and so taking care of them is what I'm passionate about! I've fostered kittens and cats for a local shelter for the last three years and have grown up with family cats all my life. I love both dogs and cats but I prefer to accept cats only on Rover. I work as a veterinary assistant in an animal shelter environment and have handled all personalities of cats (from feral to friendly). I have experience bottle feeding kittens and administering oral, SQ, topical, and TM medications.

Caitlin does such a wonderful job with our two cats, especially with the one that is difficult and requires a lot of medication. I highly recommend her!!
Caitlin was the perfect pet sitter! She was great at checking in, sending daily updates with pictures and we could tell Bowser got comfortable very quick. Knowing Bowser was in excellent care made our trip that much more enjoyable, stress free and relaxing. Bowser cannot wait for Caitlin to come back next month for another stay! Thanks for taking care of Bowser like he was your own, we appreciate you!

A typical day
Communication is huge of course. I make sure to provide updates as frequently as I can (lots of photos!) and also keep you aware of anything that might be out of the ordinary (ie accident or vomit).

Availability
I work full-time as a vet assistant so my availability revolves around that. I'm able to do morning and evening drop-in visits, as well as house-sitting if you're comfortable with me leaving during the day for work. I also have reliable transportation - I have my own car.
